Hey there, I was wondering if there is any possibility to add a “shuffle unwatched” option to Plex. It doesn’t seem like it would be a complicated thing to add, but it’s a great thing for watching content that has no need to be viewed in a specific order, and while the existing shuffle is great, it can show episodes already viewed
This is already possible.
use the web app to go into your tv show library
switch the view mode from Shows to Episodes
switch the filter from All to Unwatched
If you want to watch using the web app, you can now simply hit the ''shuffle" icon
If you want to use a different app, click on ‘Add to Playlist’ instead. This will generate a ‘smart’ playlist, which updates automatically as new episodes are added into your library and other episodes get watched.
Then switch to whatever app you want to use and load the playlist. Press ‘Shuffle’.
