shutdown on QNAP NAS

I am succesfully running PlexConnect on a QNAP NAS. I occasionally shut the NAS down when I am finished watching somethingusing the power button on the front. The next time I power up the NAS I find that PlexConnect (and Plex) haven't started. I think this is because both Plex and PlexConnect are not shutting down correctly when I power down the NAS.

Is there some way to get PlexConnect to shut down gracefully when I power down the NAS?

I suppose you'll need to add a script to the shutdown process to gracefully kill PlexConnect. Although I don't think that shutting down PlexConnect un-gracefully should affect it.

I do know though that QNAP takes forever to boot up for me, so I never shut it down.

The only issue I know of with not shutting down plexconnect gracefully is it does not save any changes made in Settings to the atvsettings.cfg file.
