Plex is a awesome program but forgive me saying the moods are so stupid… like druggy, cerebral, clinical, detached, earthy, exuberant, hungry, etc etc…
It would be great to have just about 10 moods (top), not hundreds… and more accurated.
Please rethink the moods adjectives… the way it is no one can use this feature.
Why don‘t you delete the mood categories you think are not helpful and optionally create new ones to sort your files? Do it either manually, with a script using plexapi or with Metamanager. Prevent overwriting by locking the fields.
My impression of the current vast list of moods is that many of them would fall into a “higher” mood category. For example “exuberant” and “excited” might just fall under something more general like “happy”. I agree with the OP, we only need like 10 moods to cover them all. Feature is useless as is for two reasons:
takes way too long to scroll through and find a mood (also I don’t know what half of them even mean).
the quantity of song selection from the mood is too narrow because the mood was so specific.
