first of all, I am impressed by Rasplex. I did nothing else than flashing the image to an µSD card, connected it to my receiver, network and power - and everything worked immediately apart from the fact that I needed to configure the audio output to pass through DTS and DD audio. Surround sound was the major reason why I moved from the Samsung app to Rasplex. However, in the Samsung app there is a horizontal list of movies above which the movie details are being displayed. I haven't figured out how to make Rasplex do the same thing. All I have is some kind of tabular view of the movie posters, three rows with eight posters/row.
Any ideas on how to change that view? Do I need to install another skin (which one)?

All you need to do is keep pressing right (right to the end) in Poster View and the list view will be shown, if you want to change back to Poster View just press right again.
Great thanks... that helped a lot. However, in the Samsung app it used to look like this which somehow I liked better.

Try either Amber of Simplex.e skins, they might provide you with what you are looking for, others skins are too Slow for Rasplex, look in the Skins forum.
I've noticed if you use that particular view in the Mediastream or the Simplex skins (or in fact any view other than list), the intermediate screen that asks if you want to see All, Recently Added, Recently Released, etc won't show properly. You then have to hit the right arrow & select "List" before it displays. This "bug" isn't limited to Rasplex - I've noticed it on PHT on my PC too. I would love to see this fixed but can't find any other reports of this issue.

This isn't a 'bug', it's the way it's supposed to work. You could try asking for a feature requests in the Plex HT forums.
