Hello, I have been recently using the Xbox One app and I have run into a small annoying problem. Sometimes after turning off my Xbox, when I go to delete the local file on my server I can't because Plex has it still in use. My Plex server runs on a Windows 8.1 pc. I generally have to kill my plex server and then restart it to get Plex to release the file.
Yeah, the xbox one just suspends apps when you switch to something else, or if you power down the xbox (standby), so it makes sense that the files might still be in use.
Have you tried using the manual close on the Plex app on the xbox one to see if that releases the lock? Hit the little 3 line button when you have the Plex app selected on the xbox one dashboard, and select quit app.

I get that the Xbox One only suspends apps, my problem is that I'm never watching a show when I turn the Xbox off. I'm always back to the browsing section so there should be no reason for Plex to be using those files anymore.
