I’m running into a bunch of hurdles trying to autofilter specific things based on specific words that would definitely be in the metadata.
I felt like this should have already been a feature, but apparently not. I can currently filter by “Title contains x” but not “Description contains x” which seems like a massive oversight.
”Metadata contains x” would be a more comprehensive way to cover all the bases.
This would also go for other media forms like Episode Metadata/Description or Track Metadata/Description for even more precision.
An example use case would be if I was trying to create a playlist of all holiday content for each holiday and filtering by the words associated with that specific holiday. “xmas” “christmas” “holidays”
There’s already an existing suggestion to support filtering your library items by their description (or tagline). With that, you could also build a filter to check multiple attributes (e.g. a combination of genre, title, description that contain a specific term).
