Smart Playlists (Music)

Any smart playlist gurus that can help, please give me your thoughts…

I’m fine with basic smart playlists and have a few set up, my “Top 100” played, for example. Pretty easy/straight-forward.

But…

Can I add date parameters to this? So I can have my most frequently listened-to tracks this month.

From what I see Plex only does total plays, and you can’t add date parameters to that, but would happily be proved wrong…

You would need to quantify “most frequently played” but something like this should work.

“This month” would be hard. What if it was the 1st or 2nd, you wouldn’t have much played yet so it have 0 results.

Thanks!

This looks like it will work - the rolling month is ideal, exactly what I was looking for (rather than calendar month).

Is there a way to see how many times the track has been played in that month/period? Or does Plex always just show the total, all-time, plays?

Edit:
Ahh, OK - I thought I might have tried this.

So if I set-up the smart playlist using those filters it will always give me the total track plays of the track. So for example…

If Elvis “Burning Love” has played 100 times total, but only once in the past month, it would show on this list.

But…

If Green Day “American Idiot” has been played 4 times, all in the past month, it wouldn’t show up.

What I want to try and do is show the music I’ve listened to most over the past weeks/month. Any way of doing that?

Ah sorry you are right. The plays is total and not for a certain time period. Let me see if there is an alternative.
