I have plex media server v1.29.2 installed on a nvidia shield. when i go to settings to turn on the sonic feature i dont see it anywhere. The feature is also not found in the advanced tab of library.
any help would be really appreacited, i just recently started using plex amp and i find it fantastic and i think this feature would make it even more so.
Tried to find on if this is a feature not available on the shield but i was not able to confirm or deny that.
I believe, the sonic features aren’t available on the Shield platform.
Sonic analysis requires a Windows/Linux (64 bit only)/Mac based server – while this will include most NAS platforms, the Shield doesn’t.
Thank you for the quick reply. I was afraid that was the answer. oh well. I may now seriously consider switching from the shield, but may not be worth it.

How big is your library. Plex music doesn’t require a powerful machine, i have mine running on a computestick while my main library is on the shield. Granted sonic analysis will take forever if you have a huge library.
