Server Version#: 1.28.2.6151
Recently while trying to diagnose issues with Plex Downloads I made some configuration adjustments to my router (UniFi Dream Machine Pro/UDMP) relating to DNS rebinding protection and the plex.direct address. Since then my Sonos devices have been unable to playback music from the PMS. I removed and readded the Plex agent for Sonos and while it discovers the server and media just fine, attempting to play media results in an error. My assumption is the configuration adjustment has caused issues with resolution of plex.direct in my local network.
I can see lots of lines like the following in the “Plex Media Server.log”, where “xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx” is the public IP address of my home network:
Sep 15, 2022 17:17:44.595 [0x7f9fc6ddfb00] WARN - [HttpClient/HCl#4475] HTTP error requesting GET https://xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.a22b189456db420484e51a250bdab9a3.plex.direct:21548/identity (7, Couldn’t connect to server) (Failed to connect to xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.a22b189456db420484e51a250bdab9a3.plex.direct port 21548: Connection refused)
Playback on other local devices seems to be OK, although according to Tautulli all playback is via Plex Relay which seems strange.
Any help appreciated.
