Sort Name in File Name?

Is there a file name convention to add a “sort name”? I’d like to be able to have files automatically imported using my preferred sort names so I don’t have to redo work if I migrate my files to a new plex server.

For example, if I have Star Wars - A New Hope (1977).mkv is there syntax like Star Wars - A New Hope (1977) {sortname:"Star Wars 1"}.mkv? (made up syntax)

No such syntax.

However, sort names, etc are stored in the Plex Media Server database. If you move/replicate/etc your server on another system, you can copy the Plex Data Folder to the new system and retain such customizations.
