Sorting within collections

Feature request for sorting movies within a collection while leaving their regular sort order in the Library view intact.
Currently there are only options to sort by release date (ascending) and sort alphabetically. I’d also like an option to sort by IMDB ranking (for my IMDB Top 250 collection) and also a custom sort option.
I realize I can create a custom sort by editing the sort title, but this workaround also changes the sorting of the Library view.
The collections feature is great and makes navigating a large library a lot easier, but as it stands now, the options are a bit limiting.

[Implemented] Custom Collection Sorting - Machete Order

General question about collection sorting using the Star Wars ‘machete order’ as an example. At the minute, it’s only possible to sort collections alphabettically or by release date. Anyone know of a way of custom sorting a collection without affecting the main library sorting? This would be possible if more collection sorting options, i.e. fully customisable sorting, were added.

Collections Sort Order [implemented]

I have set up many collections on my server. Some like “3D” “Hallmark” “Westerns” etc… Problem is that they are sorted by production year. I don’t see any way to change this. Thus, many sub collections are broken up by other movies. Or taken out of VIEW order. I would like to see an option to sort the collections by other methods. Personally, I would like them done based on their library sort order. Thus, if I have a group of movies sorted in the library by view order using Sort Order t…
