Why is there not an option to sort by most recent recording / date? It’s always (everywhere that I see lists) showing the oldest at the top of the list.
While I’m at it … How can I get rid of all the ‘fluff’, like “Related Shows” that are shown at the bottom of an episode list. Or the synopsys. I KNOW that NBC News has “The very latest on the day’s top stories, going beyond the headlines …” Bla Bla Bla.

What OS / platform are you using the Plex client on? Web? Apple TV? etc.

Unfortunately, none of that is possible. It’s how Plex does its thing, for better or worse.
Assuming what you’re viewing is the DVR Schedule, that’s not really meant to be the primary place to view/play content (in the Plex world).
If you really want as much control as possible for your recordings, I recommend creating a separate Plex TV Library, set all your recordings to use that destination and then view that library for your recordings (instead of viewing the DVR Schedule view).
