Not sure if this has been requested or not. For the plex DVR, I record a news show every single day, but don’t delete my shows in case I want to go back and watch them. It’s a hassle having to scroll to the newest show when scrolling through 120+ episodes. Please add a sorting feature so you can toggle between the oldest and newest recording.
Thanks BigWheel. Yeah, you can do it that way, but sure is one clunky way of doing it; not intuitive at all. It would be nice if you were on the show and you could click an option up top to sort newest vs. oldest. I would have thought this would have been one of the first things added. On the Amazon FireTV app you can view recently recorded stuff and that works pretty well. Just seems like a huge area for improvement.
You can reach what you want by accessing on deck and recently added, but if I want to navigate to a particular show, you can’t sort it there. Using the same idea of Windows or Linux. If I navigate to a folder containing items, I can sort that particular folder by date / modified, etc. I don’t necessarily want to see everything that has been recently recorded and on deck. I want to see and sort a specific show or folder. If I choose your way of doing all --> episodes --> by date added it still shows everything. You have to click around to sort everything. So yeah, it is a bit clunky.
