Good day - noticed a Showmax service under the available streaming list but it is not the ShowMax we have here in SA. is it possible to add it?

I believe it is the correct service but using an older icon.

howzit mate. thanx for the info. ok cool i reckon the fact that i think it’s a “different” showmax is that when i search for specific content that is showmax via plex it doesn’t “read” it from showmax. plex also doesnt show the content from showmax when i tested it now. maybe i am doing something wrong not sure. this is slightly above me…

Sure. International content like Peacemaker, Ballers, Westworld - that i can find via plex and it takes me to showmax so it works fine (i just tested it now) but when i search for local content (afrikaans shows) like Boer Soek n Vrou or Swaai Braai or Die Byl. it doesnt come up.
TV shows must exist on our database too, which means they must exist on either The Movie Database or TheTVDB. For movies they could be on IMDb too. These sites allow anyone to add new content (just be aware of their rules beforehand).
If they don’t exist there then we won’t be able to link to them.
ah ok that makes sense. didnt think of the database. but cool i understand now the story. i will look at trying to add these local shows some time… much appreciated doctor meneer!.!
