The Showmax streaming service listed is not working properly.
In Plex, some shows from Showmax show up when you search for them, and others don’t. For example, “Banshee” shows up, and if you click it in the Windows web browser client it will take you to the Showmax website and play it. But if you search for it and click it in Plex for Android TV (Chromecast) you get an error. If you search for certain other shows (like “The Penguin”) it doesnt show up at all.
Also, when you’re lucky enough for Plex to give you a search result for Showmax, it displays the “old” icon (black & white). The “new” rebranded Showmax has a kindof orange icon. When they rebranded we had to uninstall our old showmax apps from the play store and install a whole new version, which suggests that they had more complex upgrades on their side as well.

Ok thank you. Maybe I will reach out to Showmax and see what they say as well. Hopefully you guys can look into the Android deeplinks to find out why the shows that do show up don’t link to the new Showmax android app?
Yes, I confirmed this as well. I also installed the JustWatch app on mobile and its opening the links in the browser instead of the app which I think may be the issue.
