This question may have been asked but I couldn’t find an article that spoke to this specifically. In films where there is a foreign language spoken for short times in which in the original release subtitles were available but in the version of the film I have they are not what is the best practice to get that data? For example in films like Avatar where there is an alien language spoken I’m not looking to subtitle the entire film, just the parts in which the language in being spoken like it was in the theatre. Is there a function for that?
called “forced” subtitles. subzero have this function. something of the lines of “only download foreign subtitles”. subtitle files doing this usuailly end with (file name).en.forced.[file_extention].
