Spectrogram Visualizer for Plexamp

Hopefully pretty straightforward.

I rarely ever use the visualizers in Plexamp, and when I do, it’s always the “Spectrum” preset since it’s just a classic spectrum analyzer. It can be a bit hard to see sometimes, depending on the colors it picks from the album artwork, but it mostly gets the job done.

What I would absolutely love is a 2D spectrogram visualizer. It doesn’t have to be super fancy or customizable or anything. It only needs to be legible (i.e., for the sake of readability, maybe use a static color palette instead of trying to pull colors from the album artwork), and should have enough bandwidth to visualize up to 22kHz.

Maybe this is a niche use case not worth catering to, but I pretty frequently want to look at the spectrals of a song I’m playing, to check the prominence of certain sounds, their space in the spectrum, and so on. The “Spectrum” visualizer is somewhat handy for this, but obviously not as detailed as a real-time scrolling spectrogram would be. Hence my request!
