When I scroll music library on android artist posters do not load until after scrolling down. Scroll down and then I have to wait for posters to load. Scroll down again repeat. Close app or refresh library and all the poster data has to be loaded again. Why not load it all at once. I’m going to scroll down anyway. Why not keep that info on the phone even after closing app. It can alway be updated right?
There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to cache metadata and images on the mobile clients to speed up page loading. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes (although there seems to have been very little interest in that feature). Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
