Unfortunately still the same broken behavior for me on the latest version of PMS (Mac) and Apple TV. Was hoping this one was the silver bullet.

Not any better with the Android client. Initial testing worked well with my LG TV client.

Perhaps all this has actually fixed (as stated in the change log) is that the “Watch from Live” option will always appear now, even if it doesn’t work very well still.

No change here. W10 server (Version 1.16.5.1488) and ROKU or browser. SNAFU!

this is the only issue i have with plex, if plex could get this sorted i would almost call it perfect.

No luck with this update, its showing the option to play from the start but still only playing live tv server version 1.16.5.1488 and playback from the web client

The fix that was mentioned was only specifically to do with the Watch from Start prompt not being shown sometimes. There are other fixes coming in relation to actually starting at the beginning.

As Elan mentioned, there are a few different things at play here. Some server side, and some client side. We’re working to get them resolved, and working consistently.
