I must be on the beta program for both as I just received an update to the client like today = Plex for Android 7.21.0.12194-beta
Look around to see how you sign up for that beta… Here is the Fourm that shows the releases for the beta: Beta Release for Android
From what I can see, all you need to do is go to the google play store using that link in the beta link I posted and then click install on your device.
