I am trying to integrate my headless Plexamp web UI into my Home Assistant instance. The web UI loads fine and works as expected except that I have to constantly re-login. This also happens in Firefox for me. Is there a way to remained logged in in the headless Plexamp web UI?
Tell your web browser NOT to delete the cookies from plex.tv when it’s closed.
It’s not deleting any cookies…at least it’s not supposed to be. I’ll investigate further.
Modern browser versions do this by default, and you have to create an exception from that in their preferences.
There are also some other apps which aim to purge usage traces from your machine which remove cookies and other browser data. Look out for anything that claims to “clear the machine”, “enhance your privacy”, “optimize performance” etc.
They sometimes even come bundled with 3rd-party anti virus software.
