Bumping this topic. The problems with DLNA and Sony TV’s started with Plex v1.4. As of this post we’re on v1.9.2 and there’s still no solution. All the above tips and tricks didn’t work out for me.
I have subsequently bypassed the issue by getting an amazon firestick and the corresponding plex app.
@mfeingol do you still work here? Users with issues, and no reply or action by the Plea Team. Would you use or buy a product with little to no customer support.
Let’s see some action and get this bug fixes.
