I like tinkering with smart playlists based on my commonly watched shows to set up various spreads of episodes. I’d like to be able to randomly play individual episodes from these playlists as I’m going to bed. However, the Roku app does not honor the “auto play next episode” checkbox in the settings when you’re playing a playlist – instead, it just wants to go on forever.
For contrast, on the web app in Firefox, playback will stop after playing an episode from a playlist. In that environment, it appears the checkbox setting is honored.
Does anyone know of a way to keep the Roku from auto-playing the next episode in a playlist? Or anyone have any other creative ideas for how to achieve my end goal?
