I have a Sony Bravia Smart TV and noticed that videos within a playlist do not autoplay (i.e. playback stops at the end of each video clip), unless I start the playlist from the beginning using the play button at the top of the playlist, then the clips in the playlist autoplay consecutively. However I have playlists with hundreds of clips, and want to be able to start playback (with autoplay) from any position within the playlist. Oddly, when I use the Roku Plex app, it works fine. However, I do not like how other features are implemented in the Roku app, so it’s not a good option for me.
I have the same issue in the FireStick app,.followi g.
About 3-4 months ago, I noticed on all of my players that the auto-play screen after something plays simply goes dark. Auto-play still seems to work properly, but I don’t see any of the details of what is about to play.
Here is a screen shot from our Samsung TV. After an episode played, the auto-play screen that once showed the details about what was about to autoplay, simply is blank. But if I wait 15 seconds, it still plays.
Are you also seeing this?
No, I just see the tile of the clip that just played and nothing else.
