Stored content automatically deleted after watching?

Hello

My friend is running his Plex server on a dedicated new Mac Mini and in the last few days, he says that movies are being automatically deleted after being watched.

I cannot find a setting for this anywhere and cannot duplicate the issue on my own server. Does anyone have any guidance on this subject?

Unless your friend is talking about DVR’ed content in a library that’s configured to delete/keep certain amounts of items of a show (e.g. 5 unwatched/newest/… episodes), Plex should not be automatically deleting watched content. Plex won’t usually touch your files to start with.
