I’ve had my 2024 Roku Ultra for a year now and I have an issue I haven’t encountered before. If you hit pause, it just circles and then begins playing again. If you skip forward or back it may not skip or it may resume with audio out of sync.
I have the same WIFI router I’ve always had - i just updated the firmware with no change. I just tried forcing it to go from 2.4 to 5ghz only on a different SSID - same issue. When I test at 2.4GHz or 5GHz I get about 280mbits per second.
I have a second Roku unit - same model - it doesn’t have these issues.
I have tried rebooting the Roku - power unplug.
I’ve turned off and on the PC - again playback is fine on my other Roku - same model.
Any tips - I’m about 98% sure it isn’t a wifi issue.
I could reset it to factory defaults but prefer not if possible.
