Could someone from Plex staff please check/reset the stuck plex.direct certificate on my server?
Plex account: aaronchi@gmail.com
Server name: Mojo Dojo
Machine identifier: 2cce9cffa826d196d7a2cc9f21b80cfe2c6daaf1
Platform: Plex Media Server on macOS (Apple Silicon)
Symptom: Remote Access stuck on “Not available outside your network.” PMS logs show TLS handshake rejections both from external reachability probes and from local network clients:
CERT: incomplete TLS handshake from [::ffff:172.91.180.134]:59176: sslv3 alert certificate unknown (SSL routines)
CERT: incomplete TLS handshake from [::ffff:192.168.68.52]:49856: sslv3 alert certificate unknown (SSL routines)
Also saw this during a publish attempt:
HTTP error requesting GET https://172-91-180-134...plex.direct:32400/identity
(60, SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK)
(SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate)
Already verified on my side: public IP confirmed stable, port forwarding and UPnP both working (server reachable via public IP:port from external test), system clock correct, full macOS update + reboot performed, server restarted.
