Subtitles all of a sudden not working

Player Version#: Web client

Having a weird problem. I have a couple of movies (The Book of Life and Maleficent) where I enabled English subtitles and they displayed perfectly. Fast forward a couple of days and now when I turn on subs for either of those movies, I get this error:

Tried a few other movies and they are displaying subs fine.

What could case subs to work for a couple of movies fine one day and not the next?
