Can anyone tell me why my sub titles are not showing? i have MKV files with them but when i enable them they are not showing. If i use the web browser and view the video file it can see them but they are not showing. Could it be the MKV files i have?
I'm having this same issue right now. They are detected and selected. I checked in the SRT and see the time stamps so they should be showing up. Anyone else? PMS 9.7.22 streaming to Logitech Revue Plex For Google TV.
I'm not sure if either of you discovered a solution, but I installed Rasplex today (9.9.16) (512 pi) and I can't get subtitles to work for my mkv files. I'm using .ASS files and they are currently embedded into the mkv, and appear in the audio options menu as a subtitle. But whatever I do, I can't get the subtitles to display on screen.
I've also tried just putting the .ass file in the same directory as the mkv (with the same filename etc), and once again it shows as an option in the subtitle menu, but won't display.
As an aside, these subtitles work fine on Plex for OSX, and in VLC. It appears that Rasplex is the only client that's having problems with them.
I've been having the same problem, but have found that if I convert the subtitles to .srt format they work fine.
You might lose some of the positional data, but they'll work. :)
