Plex (on web & Smart tv too) doesn't show the srt files.

Dear All!
I have many series with subtitles, but the “subtitles” menu on plex is inactive, so I can’t set to show my subtitle.
Any series episode’s subtitle is SRT format and the srt file is same as the video file (e.g. MovieS01E01.mkv & MovieS01E01.srt).
I tried to watch them with VLC player, and it shows the subtitles, but my Plex doesn"t. :frowning:
I can’t watch them with my Samsung Smart TV and with web too :frowning:
(About one month earlier I watched last time some series with subtitles, and then it worked.) Can anybody help me?
Thanks a lot.

  1. Which server platform?
There may be a bug on certain server platforms, preventing Local Media Assets from working correctly.

  2. is the Local Media Assets agent active under
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movie
    and
    Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase
    and
Settings - Server - Agents - TV Shows - TheTVDB
    and
Settings - Server - Agents - TV Shows - TheMovieDatabase
    ?

  3. the subtitles must be encoded with the UTF-8 text encoding or they may not work across all Plex clients, especially the Web client and the official Smart TV client
You may use an advanced text editor or Subtitle Edit (on Windows) to do the conversion

I had to change my Agents settings  Thanks a lot!!

The last entrie of srt subtitles into a mkv film is not showed. There is a way to avoid this problem?

Not exactly last one, some of them, but this problem does not happend with ass subtitles type
