Suddenly can't connect to the server via app.

I just got a new router and it worked good for a few hours and now it says disconnected. Can someone help me please, I have no idea what to do

I have the same problem. Dual-booting Windows 10 version 1903 and Windows 7. I have the Plex Server program on both and the Plex client on my Android phone (Moto Z) and on a FireStick. In Windows 10 nothing will connect to the server. Under Windows 7, everything works fine.
It has to be something in Windows 10. Granted, I am in the Insider Program and get weekly updates. MY problem didn’t start until 3 days ago. It has to be in that last update (18361.1).
I am currently getting a new update. Hopefully Windows 10 will allow Plex to work again after this.

I didn’t see anyone mention this. The Plex app on my FireStick is asking for Plex Server version 1.3.0 or higher. I am using version 1.15.2 on Windows 10. I cannot find any version higher than this.

Plex only working on web clinet. Cant conenct on tv, mobile or tablet…

i had this problem. My only solution was:

  1. delete the Plex database and find all meta data frem scratch.
  2. Then delete the app on my iOS devise and install again
    now it works and all is fine.

I realize this is an old topic but I just ran into this issue after a recent update of Plex Media Server for Windows 10. Turns out my AVG antivirus was causing the problem. Within the AVG settings, I had to change my network profile from public to private, that resolved the issue.
