"sudo" command in rasplex

Dear Developers,

I am using rasplex for my video's and it's a wonderfull program!

Although, entering the rasplex with ssh and trying to use the command "sudo", I was not able to do it.

The system just said "this command cannot be used".

Can somebody tell me if there is a good reason for this and how I could make this work?

I am interested in installing an extra client next to rasplex for music but therefore I need to use some linux commands.

Thanks in advance!

Its already logged in as root so no need for sudo.

Thanks for the reply Morey!

One extra question: since I am using openelec, I cannot use the package manager.

Because  want to install some extra libraries (libflac-dev, libfaad2 and libmad0) I am looking for a solution.

I already downloaded these packages manually (not with all the dependencies but still...).

My question: since I don't have any .DEB package installer installed, how can I install the single/manual downloaded .DEB files?

Thanks already in advance!
