Suggested movies using Discovery Feature

Hi, this would be my first suggestion submitted here, I did search for similar suggestions and did not find any in the area.

I love the Discovery feature using my streaming services like Disney, Amazon, Netflix and HBO Max.

Would love to see a recommended for you based on my personal movie library of movies that I own from DVD or movies I have recorded from OTA TV, that are not already in my collection. This would give me a source or movies that I would be interested in watching, even if the list is only based on those movies that I am currently watching or have recently watched, but are available via one of my streaming services.

Would not be interested in recommendations via streaming services that I am not subscribed to.

I suppose what you’re describing could be covered in this existing suggestion. Although that suggestion predates the Discover feature and focuses on recommendations from local/shared libraries.

Recommendation based on previously watched/rated

Request Add a recommendation section based on previously watched or rated content. This could be similar to how Netflix will suggest new content based on what you have watched. Plex currently does this, to a limited extent, by having the “Related Content” section when viewing a piece of media. Yes similar, but your recommendations would be based of off your local library and those streaming services that you have entered in Discovery
