I wish we could get some sort of reminder to pop up when we all reply, just in this particular forum, that reminds folks that +1 doesn't do anything to notify Plex's developers how many people are interested in a particular feature, for the obvious reason that 1 person can spam a thread 100 times with a "plz gib feature" comment. 1 "like" at the first post, equals 1 paid plexpass subscriber's vote.

I can't imagine that remembering position for audio files on Plex could be more than a copy/paste of some code for the devs. All the other media types remember last position... Am I missing something?

I would really like more then a books section, an AUDIOBOOK section. It is Media... Some key things it would need:Ā
1.) Ability to resume where you left off.Ā
2.) The ability to read common audiobook formats.Ā
3.) A connection to an online audiobook library, for images and information.Ā
4.) The ability to categorize books based on classes and subclasses/Genre/Type much like video is setup.Ā
5.) The possibility to sync offline.Ā

I have podcasts downloaded but every time I go back it starts from the beginning.
Makes it unusable.

I have wanted this feature from day 1... really hoping that the dev's will try and get this added.
I want this feature too! It was a little disappointing that it wasnāt there already
