It would be nice to not always have the server owner / admin listed on all devices, especially since the main account cannot hide source folders, I know I can just create another user and only share the libraries I want to that user, but since I cant even rename the main account, this would be a nice feature.

Most current clients support pinning/unpinning of libraries. This is not limited to non-admin users.

Thanks Tom for your reply, however I am unable to change my username because “Josh” is taken because it is plex.tv wide server naming… and being that it will rename the whole server. If I wanted to have “Josh” be a user, I would have to create a separate managed user named “Josh” and continue to have “server name” be listed as a user on my main screen because it cannot be hidden or renamed…
There’s quite a popular feature suggestion for that where users are asking to support an “alias” for your user accounts (for your own account(s) and how friends show up on your system)
