I regularly install new ROMs on my devices, which has the side effect of effectively ‘getting a new device’ every time I reinstall the operating system. I’m sure there are also users who test mobile phones and other devices who also change devices at a fast pace.
As it stands in Plex I have to go into the sync settings for every peice of media that was synced to my last device and manually reselect it with the same settings, despite the original settings being still easily accessible in the ‘Synced Media’ view until I delete the no-longer used device.
Please can we have a ‘Copy sync configuration’ button that simply copies all the sync instructions from one device to another. Hopefully this is a fairly simple upgrade and one that will massively improve the quality of the Plex experience for those who use multiple devices.
