The current ux for syncing music from the Android app is very tedious. The sync button is only available after clicking an album or artist. Clicking the back button from the artist/album page will not aleays take the user back to where he was in the collection view. While this works well for syncing the occasional new album, in large collections, when syncing several hundreds of songs for the first time, this makes it a very long and annoying process… I would even say this is simply impossible while remaining sane 
To make this more pleasant, the sync option should be added to the contextual menu. Each album and artist have a contextual menu, presented by 3 vertical dots. The menu contains the shuffle, add to playlist and play options. If it also contained the sync option, it would be much faster and practical!
Another approach would be to add the “selection” option to the collection view, much like the web app. This way, the user could select one or several albums/artists/songs from the collection view and hit the sync button that is already present on the top of the view to initiate the sync of all this content. To make this work efficiently, a “sync all” check box should be added to the screen that prompts you for the maximum number of songs to sync.
