Sync my watch state not working across servers

Server Version#: 1.32.0.6918 on one, 1.32.0.6950 on the other
Player Version#: web

I recently made a second plex server on a different machine, to which I have copied some media files. I claimed it to my account and it works properly. However, the watch status sync does not work, and files that are marked as watched on server 1 are not marked as watched on server 2 (same media file, same size, copied directly). The option is active on my account. What am I missing?
