Watched Status no longer syncing with Server (NAS) and Roku, Phone, etc

The watched status is no longer syncing between devices. I do have the two sync settings I’m aware of set to Active/On (Account → Sync Watch State = Active and General → Web Settings Sync = ON). I don’t know if those are all the sync related settings related to this, though.

TI discovered this while resetting the watched status for a TV series. The last time I’d done that was 5 or 6 months ago, I think, and it worked as expected (clicked “Mark Unwatched” for a TV series from the browser Plex Server. All episodes were reset as expected and all attached devices (I only really use 1 (Roku), so I didn’t check mobile devices at that time) reflected the updated watch state.

This time, however, while all episodes reset on the server as expected. the watch state was unchanged on the Roku (from prior to the re-install of the Plex server - I also checked my Android and iPads, they, too, were out of sync with all other devices. I did delete and reinstall the Plex Roku app, but that, too, kept the settings (Plex Account ID, etc), so I don’t know if it’s a local setting (nothing I found there refers to syncing).

Since I discovered this, and because I was trying to force a device update, I accidentally deleted the Server entry in “Authorized Devices.” Phooey on me :frowning: I deleted and reinstalled Plex on my NAS (Synology), but it’s still out of sync. I selected the strictest delete option during app uninstall on the NAS. But, after install and Run, it downloaded the previous server configuration settings, even though I did have to re-define the Plex Libraries. So, it’s possible (likely) something from the previous server is set incorrectly on the new one.

Is there another setting I’ve missed somewhere? It would be nice if they’d add a search option for Settings so you didn’t have to wade through the entire menu structure. Possible future feature update?
