Sync play queues across clients

There’s actually already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to sync play queues across different clients. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

[Request] Have Play Queues sync between devices

Any chance we could get the Music and Video play queues to sync between devices / be stored on the server? I'll be listening to music on my phone out and about and when I arrive home I'd love to be able to load up Plex (for Windows 8.1) on my PC and have the "Now Playing" play queue match what I had on my phone, ideally sitting at the same queue item, and in an ideal world, at the same location within the track. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread.

As a side note…
You should already be able to hand-off a play queue by flinging your music to that device.
In addition there’s another suggestion discussing an option to pick from a list of play queues across devices (although that suggestion doesn’t have any votes yet).

Continue playing from another player - multiple players

Plexamp has been the best thing ever. And I have been spoiled over the years as a loyal Squeezebox user - but with PlexAmp on a Pi system, there is nothing like it (ok… PLS find a way to support podcasts).
