Syncing my music to Surface

Hi to all -

Wondering if someone can point me in the right direction of what seems like an easy task.

In the Windows version of the software I don’t see anywhere to sync my music to make available offline similar to the way my phone does today.

On my Surface, I have the space to download all my music for offline access, but I only see a way to download each artist individually, which would take a TON of time to click on each to download. I hoping like CRAZY there is a way to download all of my music for offline access in a quicker fashion than each artist.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thank you much!

Edit: never mind I didn’t read properly.

You will need to install the “Plex app for Windows”, which is a different app than “Plex media player”.
Download below.

Thanks! I’ll have to double check, but I’m pretty sure I do have the Plex app. The link at the bottom of the page

This is what I downloaded and installed.

Plex for Windows

But I don’t see an option to either sync or download all of my music in one task, have to do by each Artist or album.

Hopefully that makes sense.

That is indeed not possible (and also not advisable, unless you only have a few albums).

Why on Earth is that not advisable? Seems like if that was the case it wouldn’t be available like it is on android and iOS.

Maybe I’m missing something?

People with large music libraries are bound to get difficulties if the sync them in full to their mobile devices. The lists containing the items can get too big for those devices to handle.
That’s why the possibility to sync a whole library was intentionally left out, when the download feature was rewritten for the desktop Players.
