Syncing viewed state between duplicate remote Plex servers

I have two plex servers in different states. I keep all my media on two NAS drives with their data synced between them. My problem is that i spend 6 months in each area each year.
Addibg either one of two features would solve my problem of identifying which elements have been already viewed.

  1. Be able to link two or more plex servers such that the viewed state is dynamically updated when changed. (Hard)
    Or
  2. Allow an (an incremental) export of one server which can be imported onto another server. (Much easier)

This looks just like what i am looking for. May take a while to figure it out but I am hopeful.
