Synology DS112+ as a Plex Server

I am looking into starting my own Plex server, to watch my old DVD’s. I have an old Synology DS112+, but I don’t know that much about it. I was wondering if it’s possible for me to have a Plex server on it, which can stream to my phone and computer in the house

But then i would need a computer to run all day. Is it possible to run an older version of plex?
