Updated to DSM 6.0-7321, and updated PMS to 09.16, after upgrade finished plexconnect 05.12 failed to start, after 20 seconds or so plexconnect stops, stating that " httpd-user" does not exist.
Logfile mentioned " failed to connect to HTTPS on port 443 " and " webserver_ssl not alive. shutting down.
I did nothing to change plexconnect, could somebody help me out here to get plexconnect working again ?

Thanks for your answer, do you think it is possible to revert back to the previous dsm version ?
It’s safer to find a way to tell DSM6 to stop listenning to port 443. In DSM5 this was done with “Disable HTTPS connection for web services (‘Web Services’ control pannel - ‘HTTP Service’ tab)” but this parameter no longer exists in DSM6.
You can refer to the Synology forum to learn how to install a previous DSM version, but as Synology strongly advises against that, I would not go this route unless you want to reformat the system partition and reinstall all the packages.
I have been cheating, :-), bought the ATV4 today, and the plex app works like a charm!, really happy with it!. I would like to thank the plexconnect team for their dedication to develop this app, I have used it for a couple of years and it never failed me.
There is a new PlexConnect installer available for Syno, pls check the Synology thread. For me the ATV4 is not yet an option because I need the toslink (optical) output and my connected equipment (TV and Amplifier, both 10-year old) would not benefit from ATV4’s new capabilities.
ok, i found, well, to make it easier, uninstall old plexconnect and install manually this one and all will work perfectly :
