Yes, running in matched pairs (very important) is the key. The on-CPU memory controller reads the memory spec from each DIMM. When it find them matching is when it all starts working. Otherwise, it must configure memory clocking to work for the CL of the slowest one.
Have now bought the ds918+ and works like a charm! Very pleased with performance etc. Only had it for 24 hours but everything is good so far. Ty for all the help!
Everything really gets a boost when i enabled the HW Transcode. But why doesn’t it show that I have Plex Pass in the forum?
