Initiated a 3-month Apple Music free trial to see what the Apple Classical music app was all about. Phenomenal cataloging and organization. Could get my classical music collection partially there with proper tag support.
I recently got a lifetime Plex Pass because, on initial glance, it seemed like Plex could solve a lot of problemās Iāve been having with Appleās Music app. However, the lack of support for even the compilation boolean tag is making the amount of effort necessary to make Plex usable as a replacement somewhat arduous. I do hope that it gets supported sooner rather than later.
Iām here for subtitles. I imported a set of 13 Ghibli songs all packaged together and canāt figure out which movie is which disc without listening to tracks.
I wish cases like this with disc subtitles; that theyād be treated as first-class citizens. Heck, they even had their own album art.
Wow, weāre almost at the 10-year mark!
Come on Plex you donāt have to do all of it.
Iām desperate for Disc Subtitle for my CD boxsets.
TSST FTW!
Where are disc numbers not showing up for you?
subtitle ā number.
Disc Subtitle feels like the only thing missing for me with Plex music support these daysā¦please make it happen!
This is exactly what Iāve wanted to do, but couldnāt put my finger on what it should look like!
I just tried to create a smart playlist where my custom Track Mood is āRainā, but only allows me to select from a static list, therefore āRainā isnāt accepted. How do you achieve this?
Hi Captain,
Those screenshots are from ROON. I canāt think of a way how to create this in Plex unfortunately. Most of the time I use ROON (only sometimes when away from home I use Plexamp) as there is not much development in Plexamp (multiroom etc. was promised years ago, never seen).
I started to tag a bunch of tracks in the Mood label in Plex, but was never satisfied with the result.
Thanks for responding Jamesray. Figures that another basic function PlexAmp canāt accomplish. Iām convinced more and more every day that the devs donāt use their own product other than for basic testing.
