Recently it always takes quite some time to open the Plex on TV. In the past I used username and password to login, it worked fine. When I use a web code approach to login, it seems the problem comes.
How to turn back to the previous login approach, using username and password?

What Plex client are you using?
Plex SmartTV apps use plex.tv/link to generate a login code. You cannot use a username/password with those apps.
If this is your TV (not at a hotel, etc), you should not have to login each time. Look in the app settings for an option to auto-login.

I use the login code for the first time on my Smart TV at home. But everytime I open the Plex on TV, it takes several minutes to open the normal page with all movie content.
What client version and on what platform?
Should be listed in Authorized Devices.
I’ve seen reports of slow / lagging user interface for Samsung Tizen & LG webOS.
Plex is aware of it, but I’ve not seen any reports regarding a fix.
