I have 3 roku device in my house, a Roku 4, Streaming Stick +, and a TCL Roku TV. The 4 and stick work perfectly with tuning live tv, but for some reason on some channels my Roku TV gets to 99% receiving and times out with “Sorry, we could not play your live TV channel” and it is the only device that does this. Does anyone else have this issue or know of something I can do to resolve? I have restarted the TV and plex server with no improvement.
I have the same problem with a Sharp Roku TV. The biggest thing is it can only hook up with Wi-Fi. My wired 3 works fine. My computer over Wi-Fi works fine and so does my Roku stick… The only thing I can figure is that this TV is the farthest away from the router. I was able to get one of the two channels this happens on to work if I dropped the quality way down but it was not acceptable to me. I am going to eventually upgrade my router and hopefully that will fix the issue.
I have the same issue with two different Roku TV’s but all my other Roku devices are working fine with Live TV
Same here. TCL Roku TV just sits @ 99% and never works but Live TV works fine on my AppleTV; both are on Wireless AC.
those of you roku working on some devices but not other, should compare the plex app version, and see which version is working and not working.

same problem here… Also Fox in HD with a hd prime stays at 99% and wont play… the SD channel works…
Add me to this list where Roku tv will not play some of the channels, but my Roku 3 will. The tcl Roku tv will tune to some channels but not all. The Roku 3 will tune to all.
I am hardwired into the tcl tv through a usb adaptor and have had no issues on anything else other than this specific channels.
