In my TV series folders I would love to be able to place a text file that has information about the series. Either info about the series or info about why I ordered it the way I did. Several friends that watch shows on my server have asked me why I did a show in a certain order…because it’s not how they remember it. Then someone else asks why it’s not ordered a different way because that’s what they thought it should be.
Being able to put a text file in the folder and have it show up on PLEX so that people could read it when they enter the folder (if they choose) would be a great way to answer questions before they are asked.
Was just a thought as I was answering questions and fixing the order of American Dad and Space 1999. I would love to be able for users to open a show, and click on the INFO file. This way I could explain why I do them as they are. Or any other info I want them to know.
Had not thought of that. As I rarely ever read that stuff I didn’t think about it… Good idea. However, as it could be (and as I have written a couple of the text files out already) quite a long read, I am not sure how many people would do that…but, maybe the same number of people that would click on the text file. Just an idea though…as they could give all sorts of server info if not just series or episode info…
