The font size for text on my Synology server (has also happened on my WD server in the past) keeps getting progressively smaller for no apparent reason while I’m updating metadata for some of my videos. I’ll be typing along and then the PLEX window just resizes itself with a smaller font. Then a little later it does it again, getting smaller and smaller. This is very annoying and my not so young anymore eyes are having trouble seeing the text.
I’ve tried to find a solution on this forum but have not found one. Some responses from PLEX talk about changing the Windows system font size globally, which is ridiculous. The problem is not the windows font, no other windows on the display changed when the PLEX window changed.
Since I currently have two PLEX servers running (a WD and a Synology) I brought them both up on the screen at the same time to show that the font sizes are different with the two servers. Obviously the windows font size can’t be two different sizes at the same time. Attached is a screen shot showing the the two server windows, side by side. The sliders for changing size are both to the maximum, but as discussed in many places, it only changes thumbnail sizes, not text font sizes.
PLEX, please help. Apparently this text size problem has been festering for years!
